The location was absolutely mind-blowing, tucked away in a peaceful spot but still close to top-rated pubs and restaurants. The staff were super friendly and always ready to whip up a delicious Devon cooked breakfast with all the trimmings. The homemade cream teas in the late afternoon were a jaw-dropping treat. Our garden cottage felt like a real home, spacious, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped. The breakfast area had stunning views and a warm, homely atmosphere. Maureen's attention to detail and her undyed smoked haddock kedgeree were worth the short wait. The continental breakfast was equally amazing with a variety of fruits and yummy Swiss muesli. The property offered a delightful outdoor dining area, a refreshing swimming pool, and even a BBQ and hammocks. The owner's extensive knowledge of the area and local eateries made exploring Devon and Cornwall a breeze. The room was beautiful, just like the photos, and the indulgent breakfast required daily runs to burn off the calories. A truly unforgettable holiday experience!
